Rytec Door Service / PM Inspections

If you're not already maintaining your Rytec door systems, or they're not included in your safety program, the next step is to have The High Performance Door Co. come to your facility and do an initial SafedoorPM inspection and service.

Why Choose The High Performance Door Company

During a SafedoorPM, The High Performance Door Co. will check and maintain all of your Rytec door systems' important components, including mechanical and structural elements, controls, settings, and safety devices . All work will be performed in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and industry standards, as these are the standards that matter for reliable Rytec door performance and safety compliance.

Technicians will input notes and take photographs to provide you with clear, detailed information about work performed, or problems found. All maintenance practices and safety standards are transparent to you in the Customer Portal, so you can make repair decisions comfortably, and always understand the reason for recommendations.

All of your Rytec Doors PM records will be posted to SafedoorPM’s cloud-based Customer Portal, where they are securely stored and freely accessible 24/7. Or, you can print PM Inspection records if you prefer to retain hard copies.

Safety Compliance

Many organizations simply overlook their high speed door systems, and as a result don't include them in safety programs. But there are OHS/OSHA compliance requirements, and doors without mandated safety devices, or which don't receive proper maintenance, expose you to safety liability.

OHS/OSHA Compliance Requirements:

Manufacturers' Specifications -  OHS regulations in many jurisdictions specifically require equipment, including door systems, to be installed, maintained, and configured with safety devices according to manufacturers’ specifications and recommendations.

General Duty Clauses – “General duty of care” provisions, such as Section 5(a)(1) of OSHA, have been used by regulators as the basis for citations and fines involving commercial door systems. Examples of deficiencies cited include: the absence of proper safety devices, poor door installation, and a lack of regular maintenance and inspections.

SafedoorPM is Built for Safety Compliance

SafedoorPM's proprietary expert system DEXSYS provides PM work plans, including standards and practices information, that are benchmarked to manufacturers' specifications and industry standards, including maintenance intervals, so you can be confident your doors will receive the right work, to the right standards, at the right times.

SafedoorPM also provides comprehensive, secure PM record-keeping, including the specific PM standards and practices applicable to your door systems, in case there's ever a safety incident.
